We offer a range of services to Social Housing providers. On new build schemes, it is now a legal requirement that part of the site is allocated to Social Housing. Where the billing requirements are the same as the private sector, a problem doesn’t occur. However, the Social Housing providers may wish to have monthly billing as opposed to quarterly on the same scheme.
Whatever the requirements, we are always able to help. We can work to multiple billing schedules on the same site or we can offer Pre-Payment systems to remove the risk of bad debt from both consumers and scheme operators. We work closely with the housing authorities to ensure that the occupants are at ease with these schemes and understand how to get the most out of their heating and hot water system whilst trying to keep their bills to a manageable level. We can also be on hand to advise on debt situations should they arise, and assist the housing authority in managing these clients.
It is not uncommon for a Social Housing provider to have their own new build site which could require our input from the beginning. Being involved from the earliest stage allows us to assist in planning and we can help to ensure that the equipment being installed will be capable of giving the results expected.
