Type 5000 (Bespoke HIU)

  • This HIU configuration has primary heat to one plate heat exchanger supplying secondary central heating and a primary supply to an indirect hot water storage cylinder
  • The secondary heating temperature and primary heating supply to the hot water storage cylinder are controlled by a 2-port motorised valve installed on the secondary side of the plate heat exchanger. 
  • Control of the secondary heating and stored hot water temperature is by standard domestic controls. The heating and hot water temperature are controlled by a programmer and thermostats.
  • Additional heating zone valves can be incorporated into the pipework systems to comply with Part L1A of the current regulations. 
  • A white enamel cover is provided if required to leave an aesthetically pleasing unit
  • These HIU’s are available for operation on most all pre-payment systems and on hard wired or radio-controlled meter reading systems.
