We work with a number of local authorities assisting them with all their metering issues and any scheme problems they may have. As Local Authority schemes tend to be spread over a larger area, often hard-wired systems for data collection don’t tend to be the most appropriate method of meter reading. These types of scheme often require meter readings to be taken via a handheld device that can be operated whilst travelling from scheme to scheme. HeatLink Client Services can assist with either setting up this type of system from scratch, assisting with problematic dwellings or we can receive data and organise for the bills to be printed and posted.
HeatLink have specialised in the design and manufacture of consumer connections or ‘Heat Interface Units’ (HIU’s) with tried and tested equipment and controls which are provided on differing dwelling types from low, medium and high rise apartments to houses, bungalows, warden aided and sheltered complexes.
HeatLink do not build ‘standard’ units and attempt to make them fit an application. We believe we can offer a tailor-made solution to suit any scheme.
HeatLink can provide design assistance, technical advice, on-site commissioning of the HIU’s, operating and maintenance procedures, commissioning criteria and method statements on both large and small installation contracts.
